When you meet with the lawyer to draw up an antenuptial contract, you’ll be asked for a list of assets and the current market value of each asset for each individual. These values will be included in the contract. You and your partner can agree to specifically exclude any asset. Some assets will automatically be excluded. Everything will be discussed with you by the attorney. The document is signed in front of two witnesses and sent off for registration.
